Exhibit of royal memorabilia  Barnstaple Library 

Exhibit of royal memorabilia on loan from North Devon collector Sarah Grant.

A curated collection of over 200 items will be displayed on the top floor of Barnstaple library at selected times from 24 May - 6 June.

The exhibition will be complimented by displays from Local Studies Centre which includes the North Devon Athenaeum and the North Devon Records Office.

An original oil painting of the Queen by local artist Sarah Flannery will also be exhibited with prints available to purchase.

Tickets for entry to the exhibition are £6 per person and can be purchased at the library or from Eventbrite (booking fee applies for Eventbrite bookings).

The team at 62 The Bank & Bar 62 are rolling out the red carpet for a royal affair - their Jubilee bottomless brunch!
Available Thursday, Friday and Saturday across the Bank Holiday weekend, from 12.30pm - 2.30pm or 1.30pm - 3.30pm, you can enjoy all-new royal-themed tipples, 62 brunch dishes and a few Queen'tastic surprises along the way.

£5 per child  / doors open at 9.45am.

10am - 12.25pm Holiday club for R - Yr6 children. Pop-up café for family and siblings who want to stay around, including access to Noah's Ark - pay on the day.

12.30pm 'Street party' family lunch £2 per perhon.

1pm - 3pm Family activities around the church - bouncy castle, face paints, Jubilee crafts, quizzes and games.

Escape Down The Rabbit Hole 
  • 10am to late - food, drinks, music. Inside and outside bar, food and the best of British playlist
  • 11am to 1pm Trooping the colour and celebration 
  • 12pm to 5pm - Rabbit hole happy hour, enjoy a selection of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails deals 
  • 7:30pm to late. Open mic night, enjoy listening to some of the best local musicians around

South Molton Platinum Jubilee Events Range of activities 
  • Jubilee Market 8am to 1.30pm with big screen to show Trooping the Colour
  • South Molton Rotary Club Afternoon Tea Dance with cream tea, in the new Assembly Rooms from 2pm

  • Arts Destination South Molton heritage crafts day in the Pannier Market, 11am to 5pm with new community charter song and royal lime tree planters dance in the square approx. midday

Brayford Jubilee Duck Race Joyce's Field, Brayford Bridge

Brayford Dog Show takes place from 1pm at the Methodist Church car park. At the Duck Race you'll enjoy live music, traditional fete games, tea and cake stalls, plant sales, a BBQ and a kids pirate ship race. Wear your crowns, tiaras and red, white and blue for this fantastically fun jubilee theme Duck Race.

Brayford band and hog roast Bayford Village Hall

Jamie's Band 'SoulCraft' and Russell's tasty hog roast. £8 advance or £10 on the door. Open at all. Takes place at Brayford Village Hall from 7.30pm, hog roast from 8pm and SoulCraft from 8.30pm. Invite your friends to Brayford Village Hall for a good night out which includes a succulent hog roast bun with all the trimmings! Bar is open, dance floor is lit. Woolacombe Meadow

Woolacombe and Mortehoe residents are planning a walking procession of all residents in jubilee themed fancy dress, live music, craft stalls, dog show, bouncy castles, skateboard competition, face painting, toddlers playgroup fun, a bar, food stalls, football fun, mass Zumba session, yoga and pilates workshops, kids arts area, and a 3 channel silent disco on both nights.

All events start at midday until late with free entry.
