Welcome to Canterbury House...

Nick and Rachael would love to welcome you to Canterbury House, for a comfortable and relaxing stay in their smart, well appointed, en-suite accommodation in the heart of Regency Sidmouth.

The house, built in the early 1800's, sits in a lovely position close to the River Sid and the National Trust parkland 'The Byes'. An easy and level 5 minute stroll takes you into the town with its variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, and to the picturesque Jurassic Coast seafront where you can enjoy a walk along the promenade. Canterbury House is also perfectly situated for exploring the delights of the nearby fishing villages, the wonderful East Devon and Dorset countryside, or further a-field such as Exeter, Dartmouth, Torquay and Cornwall.

We have comfortable and spacious bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, comprising single, doubles and twins, two of which are at ground floor level. All rooms are well equipped and designed with your comfort in mind, with flat screen TV, digital radio alarm clock, complimentary hot drinks tray, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. All en-suites have a heated towel rail, lovely fluffy white towels and luxury toiletries.

We like to offer freshly cooked breakfast using local butchers and suppliers, with fresh fruits, pastries, yoghurts, and catering for all diets.

A comfortable guest lounge is available for your use where you can relax, read from our extensive free library, or surf the Internet (if you have your own wireless device). Off street parking is also available.
