Plaque description
Dating from early 19th C. in Greek Revival style, Sidmouth's original Toll House controlled the eastern approach to the town. The original toll gate now hangs alongside.
Where is this plaque located?
The Byes Toll House is located at the end of the Byes Park where Salcombe Road meets Milford Road. This plaque is located on the front facade of the Toll House itself.
